Eligibility Requirements for the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality Bursary

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen.
Be between the ages of 14 and 35 years old.
Permanently reside within Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.
Be currently in Matric, have completed Matric, or hold an NCV Level 4 Certificate.
Be studying or intending to study an undergraduate qualification in the listed fields at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Students with Matric must have achieved:
- A minimum “C” symbol (60-69%) for Mathematics, Accounting, and Physical Science.
- A minimum “D” symbol (50-59%) for English.
Students with an NCV Level 4 Certificate must have passed Mathematics.
Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to students from underprivileged backgrounds.
