Limpopo Premier’s Office Invites Applications for Fully Funded Study Opportunities in China

etdpseta-chinese-bursaries-2026, The Office of the Premier, Limpopo Province, in partnership with the Government of China, invites applications from Limpopo residents to apply for a fully funded study opportunity to pursue a four-year bachelor’s degree in China starting in February 2026.

Fields of Study

Successful candidates will be awarded a 4-year bachelor’s degree in one of the following study areas (fields to be specified by the programme administrators).

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens residing in Limpopo Province.
  • Have successfully completed their matric (Grade 12).
  • Meet the academic and admission requirements of the chosen Chinese university.
  • Be medically fit to study abroad.
  • Have no criminal record.
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership potential.

Documents Required

Applicants must upload the following documents as a single file on the eRecruitment system:

  1. Certified copy of South African ID.
  2. Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate or latest academic results.
  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  4. Proof of residence in Limpopo.
  5. Motivational letter stating why the applicant wishes to study in China.
  6. Medical certificate confirming fitness to study abroad.
  7. Any other supporting documentation relevant to the application.
